My son found it very entertaining.

My son is 12 and had to read this as a required book for his classical curriculum. He was hesitant to read it because he assumed classical books meant Boring! He read it in one night and couldn't wait to tell me all about it the next day. It is a wonderful story based on a real man, Nathaniel Bowditch who loved school, especially mathematics. The boy who once complained about math hasn't uttered one complaint since reading this book.

This was bought as a replacement copy, since my family wore out our old copy. This is a book that I reread every few years. Well written, historically relevant, and appealing to upper elementary school ages and up. An amazing, classically written story.

Amazing story, easy read.

I've loved this book since I read it as a child. Being based on a true story, I wanted to share it with my family. To share the amazing person of Nat Bowditch with another generation. Extremely well told, and easy read.
