First off, I'm fairly experienced in marketing other businesses, so I have some foundation of the principles involved, as well as some of the unique tactics.
This was the first succinct outline of an effective senior portrait model campaign I've ever seen. Many of them get bogged down with the nuts and bolts of the photo session itself, or in the specific products being promoted. Short and Sweet Read

A short 54 page romp into trying to break into the senior portrait market. Overcrowded, this gives you some insight into the business that is also found elsewhere in print. Worth the $10 or so just for a few new ideas that were overlooked by other authors. Go read it.
